Q: What drew you to work at Azimuth?
GM: What drew me to Azimuth was the challenge of leading a brand new building and post production facility, as well as bringing the best team on board.

Q: How did you get started in this industry?
QM: I wanted to get into a creative industry after art school circa 1999, so starting taking notes of the production companies of my fav TV shows, contacted them for a runner position and the rest is history.

Q: What were you doing before joining Azimuth?
GM: I had taken a break from TV to complete my MA Fine Art at Central St Martins and had just completed it when I was approached to join Azimuth.
Q: What’s been your most memorable experience at Azimuth so far?
GM: Can I say fun nights out with the team at the pub? In all seriousness, the people make a workplace and when all enjoying a laugh together, that’s what makes it worthwhile.

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
GM: Naps. More naps and then another nap.

Q: Tell me something interesting or surprising about you.
GM: On IMDB, the producers of the film ‘The Human Centipede’ give me special thanks. I’ll let you guess why! 😊

Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received in your career?
GM: Advice I got and always dispense to anyone I meet, do not stay in a position too long if it is not serving you either intellectually or in terms of career trajectory. I’ve had moments of holding out too long in some jobs, when I could have looked elsewhere and moved ahead quicker. If you feel stuck and there is no sense of a resolution where you are, move on.
